"Hello! I'm excited to introduce myself as your school's IEP Facilitator.

I've been passionate about education for over two decades now! My journey began as a paraprofessional, and I quickly found my calling working as a special education teacher. I absolutely loved that job, and it taught me the importance of supporting every child's unique learning path.

Today, I proudly serve as the IEP Facilitator at Sycamore Trails, Centennial, and the Early Learners- Family Welcome Center. Being one of the LEAs at Sycamore Trails, as a representative at IEP meetings, I work closely with parents, teachers, administrators, and specialists to coordinate the creatin, review, and revision of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Academically, I hold a BA in Elementary Education with a special education endorsement. I recently furthered my education by earning a Master's degree in Educational Leadership with principal endorsement from North Central College. I believe in being a lifelong learner myself!

When I'm not at school, I'm a wife and mother of two wonderful children. My daughter and her husband currently live in sunny California, and my son recently got engaged! In my free time, I love spending time at our family cottage in Michigan and gardening."
