Rachel Schauer

"My name is Rachel Schauer, and I absolutely love what I do! I've been teaching for 20 years- ten of those in 5th grade Ignite and I believe with all my heart that every student is important and wonderfully unique. When I'm not in the classroom, I'm at home in Elgin with my husband, our two grown kids- and our two lovable dogs: a fluffy Sheepadoodle and a spirited Aussie Shepherd. We live on a historic piece of land that even includes a tiny pioneer cemetery, which always makes for fun stories!"
