Julie Tendy

"I am thrilled to be part of the Sycamore Trails team, where I have the joy of teaching music an helping students discover their creative voices. I have been teaching for over 20 years, and I am passionate about nurturing a lifelong love of music in every child.

I hold a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Leadership in Human Service Administration, both from Bradley University, as well as a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. My endorsements include Music, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and English as a Second Language, which allow me to support learners across a wide range of ages and backgrounds.

Beyond the classroom and stage, I am a huge Disney fan, and love spending time with my husband and three children. I strive to bring creativity, imagination, and joy into my teaching, helping students connect music to their everyday lives. I look forward to partnering with families to inspire students and nurture their appreciation for music and the arts."
